Mathematics Expert

Role: Mathematics Expert

Location: Remote

We are hiring Mathematics Experts to support a top-tier AI project focused on developing challenging, real-world math problem sets. This fully remote, flexible contract role pays $70–$80/hour.

What You'll Do:

Create, solve, and review advanced math problems
Apply deep expertise to improve next-generation AI model training
Collaborate asynchronously with a team of domain specialists

What Makes You a Great Fit:

Master's or PhD in Mathematics from a leading US university
Experience with Python or MATLAB
Background in Numerical Linear Algebra, Computational Mechanics, or Computational Finance
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
High English proficiency
Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

Role Details:

Starts in late December with rolling application review
15–20 hours/week, with potential for additional hours
Fully remote and asynchronous
Short domain interview required
Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding if hired
Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
Hourly contractor role
