Location: Remote
We are hiring Physics Experts to contribute to a high-impact AI project focused on developing advanced, real-world physics problem sets. This flexible, fully remote contractor role pays $65–$75/hour.
What You'll Do:
- Create, solve, and review challenging physics problems
- Apply deep subject expertise to improve next-generation AI models
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of domain specialists
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Master's or PhD in Physics from a leading US university
- Experience with Python or MATLAB
- Background in one or more areas: Condensed Matter, Optics, Quantum Information/Computing, Computational Physics, Astrophysics, Particle Physics
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent English proficiency
- Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia
Role Details:
- Starts in late December, reviewed on a rolling basis
- 15–20 hours/week with potential for additional hours
- Fully remote and asynchronous
- Short domain interview included
- Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding if hired
- Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
- Hourly contractor position
