Role: Physics Expert

Location: Remote

We are hiring Physics Experts to contribute to a high-impact AI project focused on developing advanced, real-world physics problem sets. This flexible, fully remote contractor role pays $65–$75/hour.

What You'll Do:

• Create, solve, and review challenging physics problems
• Apply deep subject expertise to improve next-generation AI models
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team of domain specialists

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Master's or PhD in Physics from a leading US university
• Experience with Python or MATLAB
• Background in one or more areas: Condensed Matter, Optics, Quantum Information/Computing, Computational Physics, Astrophysics, Particle Physics
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent English proficiency
• Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

Role Details:

• Starts in late December, reviewed on a rolling basis
• 15–20 hours/week with potential for additional hours
• Fully remote and asynchronous
• Short domain interview included
• Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding if hired
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
• Hourly contractor position
