Business Analyst – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

A leading professional services organisation in central Bristol are looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join them.

You will be playing a key role in shaping and improving their digital products and services. You’ll collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to capture, analyse, and document requirements that enhance user experience and deliver real business value.

In this fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll manage multiple smaller projects at once — switching seamlessly between initiatives, adapting to changing priorities, and ensuring every enhancement aligns with strategic IT goals. Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and product owners to elicit, analyse, refine, and document business requirements
• Support backlog creation and prioritisation, helping define scope and business value
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to shape viable solution options
• Define and document user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria in an Agile environment
• Conduct user and regression testing to ensure high-quality delivery
• Provide recommendations based on fit, feasibility, and cost analysis
• Manage multiple smaller digital initiatives and enhancements concurrently
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and persuasively

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and switch between multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in digital product development , website improvements, or online services
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across all organisational levels
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables
• A flexible, collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to change and delivery
