*This role is hybrid with the expectation that you come in the Newcastle Upon Tyne office 3 days a week which are flexible*

The day to day of a Frontend Developer in this team

The team is made up of other Frontend Developers, Backend Developers, UX/UI and Test professionals. You'll work collaboratively to:

• Develop and implement new features for browser and mobile applications with a focus on responsive design.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient code in JavaScript (ES6), Typescript (3+), CSS3, and HTML5.
• Enhance the UI framework with reusable, New code.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and optimal user experience.
• Utilise and integrate existing technologies across a variety of projects, while staying open to adopting new innovations.
• Advocate for best practices in front-end development and contribute to the design of high-quality solutions.

Skills required

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and it's frameworks.
• Strong grasp of web design principles using HTML5 and CSS3/4.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and a solid approach to testing (unit, end-to-end, integration).
• Desirable skills include familiarity with VueJS 2, JSX/TSX, SASS/SCSS.
• Knowledge of modern technologies like React (Hooks), Playwright, Jest, LitJS, and Storybook is advantageous.

There will be a tailored progression plan put in place that meets your needs and it will flow at a pace that suits you.

• A salary of up to £50,000 with yearly pay rises / reviews
