Job Title: Software Development & IT Support
Location: High Wycombe Office Work Pattern: 1 day WFH after probation Split: Approximately 70% Development / 30% IT Support

Role Overview
You will assist with general IT support and contribute to the development and maintenance of in-house and proprietary software, including smart device applications.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Maintenance (70%)
General IT Support (30%)
- Set up Windows PCs/laptops and install proprietary software.
- Provide basic training on company-wide software systems.
- Liaise with external IT support to troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Assist with server maintenance and upgrades.
- Set up NUCs and install software for customers.
EMS Platform
- Ongoing development and functionality improvements.
- Build and develop reports for various departments.
- Perform mass data changes as required.
- Integrate EMS with Sage and manage communication between platforms.
- Mitigate platform/environment changes and security vulnerabilities.
- Maintain DevOps for bug tracking and change requests.
Zoho Expense
- Ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Manage users, policies, and vehicles.
- Align reporting with accounting and credit card API changes.
Data Poller
- Maintain/update code to reflect API or regulatory changes (Zoho, Google, Microsoft, HMRC).
- Ensure seamless data integration between Zoho and Sage.
Technical Stack
- Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET 7/8, .NET Framework, WinForms, ASP.NET, Xamarin
- Database & Reporting: T-SQL, SSRS, Entity Framework / EF Core
- Tools & Platforms: IIS, Azure DevOps, Git

Education & Experience
Professional Experience
- Extensive experience in Windows environments and IT infrastructure support.
- Proven software development experience, especially with in-house and enterprise-level applications.
- Full SDLC experience: design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with listed technologies and frameworks.
- Experience integrating systems like EMS, Zoho, and Sage.
- Familiarity with app lifecycle management and end-of-life migration.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with DevOps practices and bug tracking.
- Strong database and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices.
Education & Certifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Certifications in .NET, Azure, or security (e.g., CSSLP) are a plus.
- Experience with Agile or similar methodologies is beneficial.
