Senior Frontend Developer

Position: React Tech Lead

Location: Cambridge, UK

Contract: 6 month

Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of React-based applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend teams, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design patterns for front-end development.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Work closely with onshore/offshore teams and manage client interactions effectively.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years in React.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Redux, React Hooks, and Context API.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Webpack, Babel, and modern build tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to manage client expectations.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Next.js, Node.js, or Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale apps.
