Lead Python Developer | Up to £130,000 + Bonus + Equity | London (Hybrid)

Join a scaling FinTech platform entering a major phase of growth, investing heavily in both product and engineering as they build the next generation of their platform from the ground up.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal stage, helping shape core systems, architecture, and engineering standards while delivering products that will directly influence the future direction of the business.

You’ll lead a small, high-performing team while remaining highly hands-on, helping shape backend systems, delivery standards, and technical direction across a growing platform environment.

This role combines technical leadership, architecture, and execution, working closely with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, secure, production-grade systems in a fast-moving business.

Stack: Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, PyTest, Pandas, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker

What do you need?

• Strong commercial Python backend engineering experience
• Prior technical leadership experinece
• Experience operating within scaling/startup environments
• Prior experience working FinTech, Banking, trading etc
