Are you a VoIP Telephony Engineer, Cloud Telephony Engineer or Telecoms Engineer looking to join a small, relaxed business where you'll be a key technical player and be heavily invested in through structured training (8x8, 3CX and emerging AI projects)?

This is a permanent position with a well-established specialist telecoms provider delivering bespoke solutions to corporate clients. You'll receive a mix of in-house and external training, with clear scope to step up as the current senior engineer gradually takes a step back.

As a result of continued project demand and ongoing upgrades for existing customers, they are now looking to add another engineer to support new installations and customer growth across Essex into London.

In this role you will manage installs end-to-end from order through to completion, configuring services such as SIP and internet connectivity, and supporting SLA response targets. You'll also get training on router configuration where needed.

This role would suit a VoIP / cloud telephony engineer with strong IP understanding, looking for long-term development, hands-on project ownership and progression in a close-knit team.

The Role:

• Managing new VoIP / cloud telephony installations from order to completion
• Customer visits for upgrades and new installs across Essex into London
• Ordering/provisioning services (SIP, internet services) and configuring systems
• Router configuration (DrayTek) and supporting SLA initial/fix response as part of the team
• Hybrid flexibility (40 hours/week)

The Person:

• VoIP / telephony / cloud systems experience with a good understanding of IP networking
• Comfortable going to customer sites and communicating professionally with clients
• Keen to learn and develop (training on 8x8, 3CX and AI-focused projects)
