Senior Data Engineer
Senior/Lead Data Engineer - Qlik Sense - Newcastle (3 days p/week) - £350 - £450 p/day (umbrella)
Location: Newcastle, onsite 3 days p/week
Security Clearance: SC Cleared or eligible to obtain SC clearance
Robert Half are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join a team delivering complex data-focused projects within a large-scale environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Data Engineer with experience across modern data platforms, visualisation and analytics technologies, particularly within the Qlik and ELK ecosystems.
The Role
You will bring strong technical expertise across data engineering technologies, helping to support the development and delivery of data solutions within a complex project environment.
Experience working with large-scale public sector programmes would be highly advantageous, particularly where security, data management and technical delivery are key considerations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer, ideally at Senior level.
- Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense.
- Experience working with the ELK Stack, particularly Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and technologies.
- Previous exposure to large-scale public sector projects would be advantageous.
- Must currently hold valid SC Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Location
The role is based in Newcastle.
