SAP IBP SME Managing Consultant

SAP IBP Senior & Managing Consultants at Senior Functional Consultant and Architect grades are currently sought for leading projects in Pharma and Consumer Products clients. These SAP IBP Senior & Managing Consultant roles suit experienced SAP supply chain planning consultants who bring UK SAP consulting experience and a strong track record of delivering SAP IBP implementations.

The SAP IBP Senior & Managing Consultants will help clients improve Customers planning processes, shape solution designs and deliver transformation programmes across a range of industries. Alongside delivery, there is scope to lead consultants, advise senior stakeholders and contribute to proposals and practice development.

The Role

• Lead SAP IBP functional workstreams, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, go-live and support.

• Facilitate client workshops, translate planning requirements into functional specifications and define appropriate planning area structures.

• Deliver solutions across SAP IBP Demand, Supply and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), with scope to work on Supply Chain Control Tower and order-based planning.

• Shape integration between SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA and connected business processes.

• Guide distributed delivery teams, mentor consultants and maintain design quality.

• Support transformation roadmaps, bid activity and the development of supply chain planning services.

Skills and Experience

• UK SAP consulting experience is essential, including client-facing delivery and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong SAP IBP functional expertise, supported by multiple end-to-end design and implementation programmes.

• Detailed understanding of demand planning, supply planning and/or S&OP processes.

• Experience designing SAP IBP planning areas and translating business needs into practical solutions.

• Understanding of IBP integration technologies, such as SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services (CI-DS), Real Time Integration (RTI) or Smart Data Integration (SDI).

• Knowledge of connections with production planning, inventory management, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay.

• Ability to lead workshops, explain design decisions and coach delivery colleagues.

Experience with SAP IBP Response & Supply, order-based planning (OBP), SAP Signavio, Jira or SAP Solution Manager would be advantageous.

Package and Development

The three vacancies span £100,000-£125,000 basic salary, plus benefits and bonus, with total packages reaching £145,000 depending on experience. Opportunities include varied client engagements, professional development and access to relevant training and certifications.

Working Arrangements and Eligibility

Hybrid working combines home working with company office and client-site attendance; these roles are not fully remote.
