Write SQL queries against the NEC housing database to meet operational reporting requirements
Support the transition of existing reports from Business Objects into the new reporting module, including extracting and adapting SQL code

Support and guide colleagues who are developing SQL reports, helping them resolve technical questions and build their capability

Contribute to the successful delivery of the reporting implementation project
Essential skills and experience
Proven experience as a SQL Developer, with a track record of delivering reporting solutions within housing

Excellent technical SQL skills and the ability to understand and adapt existing reporting code
Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Experience providing practical guidance and support to colleagues developing SQL reports
Ability to work independently in a mainly remote environment and attend an office in South London when required
Desirable experience
Experience working with NEC's Business Reporting module
Experience with Business Objects, particularly extracting SQL code or migrating reports to another reporting platform
Experience supporting reporting migrations or system implementation projects
Public sector experience is highly desirable but not essential
