Technical Lead - Cyber Recovery & Disaster Recovery (DR)

Up to £742 per day (umbrella engagement)
We're supporting a major resilience programme and are seeking a Technical Lead (combining technical direction and governance with hands-on design) to drive the delivery of cyber recovery, disaster recovery, backup & recovery and operational resilience capabilities across a complex technology estate.
This is a blend of technical leadership and practical delivery. You'll provide technical direction and governance whilst remaining actively involved in solution design, engineering, integration, troubleshooting, recovery testing and implementation activities.
Key experience required:
- Hands-on leadership of Cyber Recovery and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives
- Infrastructure solution design, build and implementation
- Recovery testing, validation and operational readiness
- Production of HLDs, LLDs, runbooks and recovery playbooks
- Technical risk, dependency and issue management
- Supplier and third-party delivery assurance
- Stakeholder engagement across infrastructure, platform, network and security teams
Desirable experience:
- Cohesity, NetBackup or Zerto
- Azure, Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V
- Operational Resilience and Business Continuity programmes
- ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIST or CAF frameworks
You'll play a key role in designing, building, testing and transitioning recovery capabilities that strengthen the organisation's resilience to cyber incidents, technology failures and operational disruption.
