Full Stack Developer
Full Stack Developer (C#/.NET) - Tunbridge Wells
About the company
An established, independent e-commerce business in Tunbridge Wells that has grown year on year. They sell business supplies online to small and medium-sized businesses, from office and catering products to janitorial supplies and furniture.
They build and run most of their own technology rather than relying on off-the-shelf packages. That gives the tech team a lot of control over how things work and a direct line to the people using what they build.
The role
You'll join a small, experienced tech team of two to three developers. You'll work across their bespoke e-commerce platform and wider business systems: the webstore, internal operations tools, CRM, merchandising systems and third-party integrations.
The work covers new development, improving existing systems, integrations, support and some data work. You'll work with colleagues to understand business problems, refine requirements, design practical solutions and deliver the changes.
The team already does nearly all of its development with Claude Code. You'll spend less time writing code by hand and more time understanding requirements, designing solutions and writing clear specs for AI agents to implement. You'll guide and review the agents' work and stay responsible for architecture, code quality, testing and the final result.
Many of the systems have grown over years, so you'll need to be comfortable getting to grips with existing behaviour and business rules. They value simple, maintainable solutions and sensible trade-offs between quality, risk, time and business needs.
