Identity PKI Engineer, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, PKI, Secure Government, SC or DV Cleared-£610 a day (umbrella)
We are seeking a skilled Identity PKI Engineer to join a team responsible for supporting and enhancing critical government platforms within a highly secure and regulated environment.
SC or DV Security Clearance required or you will be eligible
Based Milton Keynes-Bucks, East Midlands. Commutable from Northampton, Rugby, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Bedford-Hybrid-3 days per week on site
Essential Skills
Strong Active Directory administration and troubleshooting experience
Experience with Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS and Group Policy
Active Directory security hardening knowledge
Enterprise Azure experience, including Entra ID (Azure AD)Experience supporting hybrid identity environments
Identity and Access Management (IAM) expertise
Strong understanding of authentication and access management technologies
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience
Experience operating within secure or highly regulated environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
MCSE certification
Desirable Skills
SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator AssociateMCSA certification
PowerShell Scripting and automation
Key Responsibilities
Support, administer and troubleshoot enterprise Active Directory environments
Manage and maintain Azure Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions
Support identity federation, Conditional Access, RBAC and Zero Trust initiatives
Administer and maintain PKI and certificate servicesManage certificate life cycle activities including issuance, renewal and revocation
Troubleshoot authentication, access and identity-related incidents
Support both BAU operations and project-based deliverablesContribute to the implementation of new identity and security services
Ensure services remain aligned to security, compliance and governance requirements
