We’re looking for a Senior Founding AI Engineer to join an early-stage video start-up building AI-powered video tools used in large-scale media environments. With multiple deals already signed and being profitable, now is a terrific time to join as they scale.
This is a rare chance to become the first dedicated AI hire in a fast-moving startup that’s already running frontier models in production with real customers. You’ll work directly with the founders, own AI engineering end-to-end, and shape product quality, infrastructure efficiency and technical direction from day one.
We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Founding AI Engineer, someone who has shipped AI systems that real users depend on and wants the autonomy to build the next generation of the product their way.
What we’re looking for:

Extensive experience across Applied AI / ML / MLOps, with a track record of shipping to production

You’ve built eval frameworks from scratch, ideally for non-deterministic outputs and used them to make real product decisions

Strong Python and experience running production AI systems at scale (latency, cost and reliability matter to you)

Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering or agentic workflows

Startup mindset: hands-on, product-focused and comfortable owning problems with no playbook
