SAP EWM Consultant
Are you an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant looking for an opportunity to play a key role in a major SAP S/4HANA transformation?
We're looking for someone to support a large-scale warehouse deployment programme across multiple UK sites. You'll work closely with operational, business and technology teams to understand warehouse requirements, define functional solutions and support the deployment of SAP EWM from design through to go-live.
This isn't a purely technical SAP role. You'll combine strong SAP EWM functional expertise and hands-on configuration capability with a practical understanding of warehouse and logistics operations. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the solution is designed, champion SAP standard functionality and support a phased deployment across a complex operational environment.
You can be based near Bristol, Chester or Manchester. The role will involve travel to Belfast, Bristol and London, potentially around once a week depending on programme requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the implementation and phased deployment of SAP EWM within an S/4HANA environment across multiple UK locations.
- Working with warehouse, logistics and business teams to gather requirements, map processes and undertake gap analysis.
- Translating operational requirements into effective SAP EWM functional solutions, producing functional specifications and supporting solution design.
- Providing hands-on EWM configuration while promoting SAP standard functionality and challenging unnecessary customisation.
- Supporting testing, migration, deployment, go-live and hypercare, including migration from existing non-SAP environments into S/4HANA and EWM.
- Working with UK and international stakeholders and wider SAP teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
What you'll bring:
- Strong hands-on SAP EWM functional and configuration experience within an S/4HANA environment.
- Experience delivering new EWM warehouse implementations or major transformation programmes, rather than solely business-as-usual support.
- Strong practical knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes.
- Experience taking an EWM solution from requirements gathering and functional design through to testing, deployment and go-live.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis skills, including experience producing functional specifications.
- Knowledge of EWM integration with other SAP areas such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Transportation Management (TM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM) and Financial Accounting (FI), together with an understanding of embedded and decentralised EWM environments.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience within aerospace, manufacturing or another complex industrial environment, particularly working with physical warehouse, logistics, production or supply-chain operations.
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with warehouse automation or external/non-SAP systems.
If you're interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!
