A hands-on Tech Lead / Principal Software Engineer opportunity for an exciting tech business offering innovative products to a global customer base. The Tech Lead will remain hands-on in a full stack Ruby, Rails, React, AWS environment leading projects an assisting senior engineers where required.

Previous experience in a full stack engineer role using Ruby, TypeScript, React and AWS is essential. The business is developing a genuinely exciting product and are growing rapidly, they promote autonomy and collaboration and support remote working.

Essential requirements:

  • A hands-on background within a Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, React, AWS or similar stack
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative product led team
  • Advocate for Software engineering best practice – Unit testing, CI/CD, Pair Programming etc
  • Interested in working on complex problems with senior engineers
  • The ability to be customer facing when required
