We are recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst to join our client, a subscription-led business, in a commercially focused role centred around customer intelligence, retention and performance insights.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst who enjoys going beyond traditional reporting, using data to influence commercial decisions, identify customer trends and drive improvements in customer retention.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in understanding subscriber behaviour, forecasting churn and translating complex datasets into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse subscriber behaviour, customer life cycle trends, retention and churn across multiple international markets.

  • Produce weekly performance reporting covering subscriber growth, churn, CRM campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.

  • Identify emerging trends and potential churn risks through predictive modelling, cohort analysis and behavioural segmentation.

  • Work closely with central Data & Insights teams to define analytical requirements and translate findings into commercial recommendations.

  • Combine customer feedback and behavioural data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and retention.

  • Support rolling forecasts, customer lifetime value (LTV) modelling and performance measurement.

  • Present meaningful insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including Director and C-suite stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 4-6+ years' experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Performance Insights.

  • Strong experience working within a subscription-based business, such as SaaS, media, telecoms or digital subscriptions.

  • Proven experience in customer retention analysis, churn forecasting, cohort analysis and customer lifetime value.

  • Hands-on experience with predictive modelling and behavioural segmentation.

  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, commercially focused recommendations.

  • Experience combining quantitative customer data with qualitative feedback or Voice of Customer programmes.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting insights to senior leadership.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across multiple business functions.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible position within an established Customer Intelligence function, offering the opportunity to directly influence customer retention strategies, commercial forecasting and wider business decisions.

The successful candidate will have genuine ownership of analytical reporting and insight delivery, working alongside senior colleagues and reporting directly to the Director of Customer Success.
