eFront Specialist

eFront Specialist

Contract | £700 per day | Inside IR35

IMPORTANT: Previous hands-on eFront experience is essential for this position. Candidates without eFront experience will not be considered.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established asset management firm for an experienced Data Analyst with eFront experience.

This is a hands-on contract opportunity focused on data quality, reporting, reconciliation and investigation across the organisation's data environment.

The successful candidate must have practical experience working with the eFront platform, particularly its reporting functionality, configuration and data extraction processes. You will be responsible for investigating reporting issues, identifying data discrepancies and understanding how information flows from eFront into downstream data platforms.

Experience with Databricks is also highly desirable, although this is not a data engineering position. The focus is on navigating the platform, querying datasets and investigating data pipelines rather than building the underlying infrastructure.

The role would suit someone from a Data Quality, Data QA, Data Reconciliation or Technical Data Analyst background who has previously worked with eFront.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work extensively with the eFront platform, investigating data quality issues and supporting reporting and configuration activities.

  • Understand how eFront reporting operates and how data is extracted into downstream data platforms.

  • Investigate reporting issues, data extraction problems and inconsistencies between source and downstream systems.

  • Use Databricks to navigate datasets, query information and investigate data pipelines.

  • Perform data quality checks, reconciliations and validation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Identify and investigate data discrepancies, tracing issues back to their underlying source.

  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.

  • Support testing activities around data changes, reporting updates and integrations.

  • Document findings, root causes and remediation activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality processes and reporting reliability.

Experience & Technical Requirements

Essential - eFront

  • Hands-on experience working with the eFront platform.

  • Understanding of eFront configuration and reporting functionality.

  • Experience navigating eFront and investigating how reports are generated.

  • Knowledge of how data is extracted from eFront and transferred into downstream data platforms.

  • Ability to investigate reporting issues, data discrepancies and extraction problems.

Desirable - Databricks

  • Practical experience working within Databricks.

  • Comfortable navigating the platform and querying datasets.

  • Understanding of data pipelines and data flows.

  • Experience investigating discrepancies between source data and downstream systems.

  • SQL experience.

Data Quality/QA

  • Experience in Data Quality, Data QA, Data Reconciliation, Data Testing or a similar technical data role.

  • Experience validating data across multiple systems and identifying inconsistencies.

  • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and data quality principles.

  • Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and work through to resolution.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a technically capable data professional with strong eFront experience and an investigative approach to problem-solving.

You should understand how eFront reporting and data extraction operate, alongside having the ability to investigate what happens to that data downstream.

Experience within asset management, private markets or investment management would be particularly relevant.
