We are seeking an experienced Oracle GoldenGate DBA to support a critical Oracle database migration programme to an autonomous database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong Oracle DBA expertise and proven experience delivering complex, low-downtime database migrations using Oracle GoldenGate and Data Pump.
The successful consultant will take ownership of GoldenGate migration activities, including configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting and adapting replication processes to meet specific migration requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive Oracle DBA experience, including Oracle Database 19c.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proven track record delivering low-downtime Oracle database migrations.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp).
- Practical experience with Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture.
- Ability to configure, optimise and troubleshoot GoldenGate replication environments.
- Experience managing data synchronisation, migration cutover and post-migration validation.
- Experience migrating to Oracle Autonomous Database is highly desirable.
