Job Title: Senior Software Developer - Basildon 4x a week
Location: Basildon4x a week
Salary/Rate: Up to £613 per day
Start Date: November 2026
Job Type: Initially 7 month contract (likely to extend for 12 months)

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Designing and building high-scale Back End services using Java
• Developing secure and resilient identity and access management solutions
• Working on systems supporting high-volume transactional workloads in a regulated environment
• Applying Test Driven Development (TDD) throughout the software development life cycle

Required Skills/Experience

• Strongexperience in Back End software engineering
• Pair Programming experience
• Test driven development
• Strong Java development experience
• Strong IAM (Identity Access Managementpreferably Oauth & Azure
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience designing & building high-scale Back End services
