Senior Core Java Engineer – Next-Gen Trading Strategy Firm

Salary: Up to £300,000 Total Compensation (Base + Bonus)

WFH Model: 4 Days in the office, 1 from home

I'm partnered with a groundbreaking London-based start-up, already making waves as a leading next-generation force in trading strategy innovation.

They’re currently looking for a ‘Senior Java Engineer’ to join a fast-paced and technology-driven environment, alongside some of the best algorithmic and performance-tuning engineers in London, focusing on architecting a bespoke cross-asset (covering FX, EQ Index Futures…. Etc) algorithmic internalization hedging platform, using Core Java.

Alongside the above, you will be instrumental in creating market-making strategies and custom tools to optimise the existing execution and risk management engines, whilst facing directly off to the stakeholders and traders, gathering requirements to translate into real-time solutions.

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience programming in Java 11+.
• Experience building a systematic trading system is a must.
• MUST come from a trading environment.
• Experience with algorithmic optimisation techniques or portfolio construction tools is desirable.
• STEM Degree from university.
