Fleet Management Implementation Project Manager

Contract (Outside IR35) Fleet Management Project Manager required on an initial 3-month contract. The Project Manager to lead a major Fleet Systems implementation across a large, multi-site organisation.

You will take ownership of the project from initiation through to successful go-live, working to a challenging delivery timetable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end implementation life cycle, through to go-live.
• Develop and manage the project plan, key milestones, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Coordinate implementation activity across 15 operational sites and 6 brands.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, operational teams, Fleetfusion and other relevant third parties.
• Manage requirements, system readiness, testing, data/migration activity and implementation planning.
• Coordinate site readiness and rollout activities to ensure a controlled deployment.
• Identify and resolve risks, issues and dependencies that could impact the delivery deadline.
• Provide clear project reporting and ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout.
• Manage the transition through go-live and into operational handover.

Experience Required

• Strong Project Management experience delivering Fleet Management or Fleet Systems implementations.
• Proven experience managing system implementations from planning through to go-live.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple operational sites.
• Strong stakeholder and third-party/vendor management skills.
• Comfortable working within tight deadlines and fast-paced operational environments.
• Able to quickly take ownership and drive a project forward with minimal lead-in time.
• Previous Fleetfusion experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

The key requirement is genuine Fleet Management/Fleet Systems implementation experience rather than general IT Project Management experience.
