Azure DevOps Engineer - SC/NPPV3 Cleared

We are seeking an experienced SC/NPPV3 Cleared Azure DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience to support a secure government-related technology project.

This is an initial 3-month contract, with an anticipated start in November/December 2026. The role will be predominantly remote, with occasional travel to London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code.

• Configure, deploy and manage Azure cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain build and release pipelines.

• Implement automation, security checks and deployment controls.

• Support containerised applications and cloud infrastructure.

• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve deployment and environment issues.

• Work closely with development, infrastructure and security teams to improve delivery processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in DevOps/Azure DevOps engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.

• Strong understanding of Git and source control.

• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash or Python.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Good understanding of cloud security, networking and access management.

• Experience working within enterprise, secure government or regulated environments.

Desirable:

• Previous experience supporting Home Office, Police, defence or government projects.

• Active SC and NPPV3 clearance.

• Azure Landing Zones and cloud platform engineering.

• DevSecOps, automated testing and security integration.

• Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
