SC cleared Senior CyberArk Architect SME (client-facing)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior CyberArk Architect SME to lead the design, integration, optimisation, and ongoing operations of CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions within a large, complex, secure environment. This is a business-critical role requiring deep CyberArk expertise, strong architectural capability, and hands-on implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop CyberArk service architecture aligned with security frameworks
Design, implement, and maintain CyberArk integrations across enterprise systems, cloud, and applications (Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM)
Lead optimisation of CyberArk services and ensure seamless adoption across the organisation
Establish governance models, operating procedures, and best practices
Provide architectural oversight for CyberArk implementation projects
Support compliance, audits, and security assessments
Develop custom connectors, APIs, and scripts to integrate CyberArk with systems including LDAP, AD, SIEM, ITSM
Troubleshoot complex integration issues and liaise with CyberArk support where required
Produce documentation and provide technical guidance/training for teams

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience architecting and implementing CyberArk PAM solutions in large enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, APIs, and integrations (REST, SOAP)
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and automation tooling
Hands-on experience with IAM, directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and cloud (Azure)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
Experience with other PAM tools (Delinea, BeyondTrust)
Strong client-facing consulting skills

Desirable:
CyberArk certifications (Defender, Sentry, Guardian)
Cloud-based CyberArk integration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Pre-sales experience (RFPs, proposals)

Due to the nature of the project the successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance before a start.
