AI Software Development Support Engineer

The Role

We’re looking for a curious and ambitious engineer to join Synetec as an AI Support Engineer . This is not your typical support role. You’ll combine hands-on software engineering with cutting-edge AI tools to deliver real impact for our clients.

In this role, you’ll:

• Solve complex client challenges through high-quality technical support.
• Work side by side with our developers to fix issues fast and improve product stability.
• Experiment with AI-powered tools to automate workflows, speed up responses, and enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, high-quality technical support to clients via email, phone, or chat, following Support Desk protocols and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to rapidly identify, report, and fix bugs, improving product reliability and user satisfaction.
• Contribute to feature development using C#, Angular, and SQL, enhancing product performance and functionality.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline support, automate repetitive tasks, and boost team efficiency.
• Create clear, reusable documentation for processes, common solutions, and product updates, enabling faster resolution and knowledge sharing.
• Build and maintain internal tools that make the support process smarter and more effective.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with the latest trends in software engineering and AI, and sharing knowledge across the team.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down and resolve complex technical issues quickly.
• Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with C#, Angular, and SQL, with a willingness to deepen expertise.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and modern development practices.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Curiosity about or experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs).
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation in support workflows or development.
• Understanding of machine learning basics or awareness of AI frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) to support automation.
