What you will do:

• Work directly with the CEO to design and implement the future of our product strategy
• Manage and coach a team of Product Managers and Designers who are each responsible for the vision and delivery individual products
• Deeply understand and critically assess how commercial, operational and technical parts of our business work, to bring commerciality to product prioritisation decisions
• Ensure the latest innovations in energy markets, EV charging and AI applications are considered
• Collaborate with our AI Engineering team to embed intelligence into the products we offer

What skills and experience you should have to fit this role:

Required:

• experience in a senior product role in a fast-paced, high growth scale-up
• experience delivering and scaling hardware with proprietary firmware as well as software and digital products
• Technical fluency to allow you to contribute to engineering discussions; understanding trade-offs, but still enabling vision and fostering innovation
• experience hiring, leading, and mentoring Product Managers and Designers
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership; you must be prepared to be hands-on

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the energy sector, home energy management and how the grid works
• Knowledge of the EV industry;
• Technical understanding of IoT devices
• Understanding of how LLMs work, how to operate them at scale, as well as how to design and deploy agents
