Service Designer - Hybrid in Glasgow (2 days weekly in office, 3 remote) - INSIDE IR35

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Service Designer to join Glasgow based end client as part of a new project tea The role involves designing and implementing managed service operating models for complex infrastructure solutions, with a focus on network and infrastructure skills.

Responsibilities

• The Service Designer is responsible for designing and implementing the end-to-endserviceoperatingmodel required to successfully transition complex infrastructure solutions into live operational service.
• Working across programme delivery, solution architecture, technical design, service operations, suppliers and the customer, the role translates contractual, business and technical requirements into a practical, scalable and supportable service model.
• The Service Designer will ensure that new infrastructure solutions are not simply technically implemented, but can be operated,supported,governed,measuredandcontinuouslyimprovedthroughouttheiroperationallifecycle.
• The Service Designer designs services end-to-end and front-to-back across people, infrastructure, communications and supporting processes

This is an initial contract running until 31/03/2027 with further extension available. The role will also be INSIDE IR35 and candidates must attend our clients office is Glasgow 2 days per week on a hybrid working basis.
