Proofpoint Enterprise DLP Engineer - Email Security & DMARC

£600-700 per day outside IR35

Put your experience of running Proofpoint Enterprise DLP to work on a clear outcome: effective controls, documented policies and a service permanent engineers can confidently maintain.

Supporting an enterprise customer, you'll help mature an expanding set of Proofpoint services. The focus is on configuring, operating and improving the existing environment, including onboarding, policy deployment and enforcement.

You'll work across Proofpoint Enterprise DLP, Email Security and DMARC, protecting sensitive information and strengthening defences against phishing, spoofing and impersonation.

Your work will include:

• Configuring and tuning DLP and email security policies, investigating alerts and reducing false positives.

• Reviewing email relay, mail flow, exceptions and SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment, and progressing appropriate enforcement.

• Documenting changes, producing operating procedures and identifying repetitive work suitable for automation.

• Transferring practical knowledge to permanent staff.

You'll work alongside Microsoft 365, security operations, information protection and data governance colleagues. Around 20% of the role involves Sentinel/SIEM integration.

You'll need current SC clearance and evidence that you have personally run Proofpoint Enterprise DLP in a complex enterprise environment. Hands-on Proofpoint Email Security and DMARC experience, disciplined change control and clear technical documentation are also essential.

The role is mainly remote, with occasional trips to London.
