💡 The Role
- Build core backend services, APIs and distributed systems in Python
- Design architecture, data flows and infrastructure foundations from day zero
- Work directly with the founders on product strategy and technical direction
- Move fast in an iterative environment while maintaining high engineering quality
- Shape backend engineering culture, tooling and processes for a rapidly scaling product
🛠️ Tech Environment
- Python with FastAPI
- PostgreSQL
- Event driven backend services and data heavy workflows
- Modern AI frameworks and agent driven systems integrated into backend pipelines
- Engineers who love solving performance, scaling and reliability challenges
🥷 What You Need
- 5+ years experience in high growth early stage startups
- BSc or MSc from a highly ranked university (Oxford Cambridge Imperial UCL, or similar)
- A desire to work in a fast paced startup that pushes technical and product limits
