Test Technician - RF / Electronics

An RF Test and Measurement Technician with a strong understanding of test methodologies, basic fault diagnosis skills and strong hands-on experience with a range of RF test equipment will join an established Technical Consultancy.

Ideally holding a formal Electronic related qualification, the successful RF Test and Measurement Technician will possess experience of working with a range of RF test equipment including spectrum analysers, power meters, network analysers and signal generators as well as bringing detailed documentation skills.

The role:

• You’ll execute test procedures in accordance with defined test plans.
• You’ll operate a range of RF test equipment.
• Will accurately document test results in a clear structured format.
• Assist in the development and automation of test procedures using scripting tools.
• You’ll perform basic fault finding and debugging of electronic circuits.
• Work closely with design and systems engineers to interpret results and suggest improvements.

Skills and experience should include:

• Electronic Engineering or related qualification.
• Hands-on experience with a range of RF test equipment such as spectrum and network analysers.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and circuit level diagnostic experience.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Good documentation skills.
