Our rapidly expanding infrastructure services company is looking for a Data Center & Office Cabling Technician to join our energetic, growing team. The Role

This is a field-based position, travelling between client sites in and around London. You will be responsible for delivering high-standard fibre and copper cabling services across both data centres and office environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test fibre (single-mode & multi-mode) and copper (Cat5e/6/6a) cabling

• Complete patching, labelling, and documentation to professional standards

• Perform rack & stack: installing servers, switches, PDUs, cabinets, and hardware

• Work confidently with conduit, trunking, tray, ladder rack, and all containment systems

• Conduct site visits, surveys, and troubleshooting as required

• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality installations

• Represent the company professionally while travelling from job to job

Experience Required

• Proven experience working in multiple data center environments

• Strong fibre & copper installation, termination, and testing experience

• Familiarity with Fluke or similar certification equipment

• Experience with structured cabling standards and containment systems

• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role

• Must hold a full UK driving licence

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

• Overtime available for evening/weekend work when required
