Job description

I'm partnering with a well-funded AI scale-up that has just secured a major investment round and has the ambition to become a category-defining company. They're building an enterprise AI platform that helps large organisations get real, measurable value from AI, using intelligent agents to automate work at scale.

This is a rare chance to join at an early stage, with serious backing and a clear vision. You'll work alongside senior product and engineering leadership, including an experienced CTO from a blue-chip technology background who is building the team in person in London. The business is scaling quickly across Tech, Product and Marketing, so you'll help shape a team of the best people in the market. The office is state of the art, in central London, and somewhere people want to come in to work.

This senior role connects customers' ideas to the engineers who build them. You'll define how people collaborate with autonomous AI agents, turning complex workflows, approvals and outcomes into interfaces that feel calm, clear and intuitive. You'll go beyond Figma and get into the code, working right up to the agent layer.

What you'll do

• Own features end to end: discovery, interaction design and high-fidelity prototypes through to production frontend code
• Design interfaces for human-agent collaboration, including agent tasks, activity histories, handoffs and approvals
• Make complex autonomous work understandable and controllable, from agent progress and decision points to trust signals, outcomes and transparency on AI usage
• Build a design system and reusable, accessible component library, consistent across Figma and code
• Prototype rapidly with product and engineering, using AI-assisted development to test ideas and ship quickly
• Set the bar on typography, layout, responsiveness, performance and polished interactions
• Give the wider dev team clear direction on what to build

Key experience

• Strong production experience with TypeScript and modern component-based web applications, ideally Vue 3 (or strong React/TypeScript with the ability to move across quickly). Tailwind CSS is a plus
• Excellent UI/UX judgement, with proficiency in Figma, interaction design, information architecture and visual systems
• Experience designing, coding and maintaining high-quality component libraries, with consistency between mockups and code
• Comfort integrating APIs, managing application state, handling loading and error states and delivering reliable interfaces for complex workflows
• A portfolio and code that show outstanding shipped products, with both aesthetic judgement and hands-on engineering
• Ability to move independently from an ambiguous product need to a polished prototype and production implementation
• Excitement about the unsolved interaction challenges of human-AI collaboration and enterprise trust
• Experience at a leading product-led tech company or scale-up is a strong advantage
