Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager
The Associates Global are looking for an experienced Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager to join a highly respected organisation undergoing a major programme of digital transformation and modernisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery professional who wants to take ownership of business resilience within a busy, changing organisation with an excellent reputation, very low staff turnover and a genuine commitment to work-life balance.
The Role
As the successful candidate, you will own the Business Resilience function, with particular responsibility for Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management and Incident Response.
You will:
- Own, develop and test Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Plans.
- Develop Business Resilience, Crisis Management and Incident Response arrangements.
- Design and facilitate DR tests, crisis scenarios, simulations and resilience exercises.
- Identify resilience requirements across critical business services and operations.
- Work closely with Technology and Cyber Security teams on resilient recovery solutions.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, clearly communicating risk and resilience issues.
- Contribute to Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Registers, GRC, Audit & Assurance, Third-Party Risk and Policy Governance.
What We're Looking For
Communication and initiative are absolutely key.
You must have strong, recent and hands-on experience of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. We are particularly interested in candidates who have personally written, implemented and tested BCP and DR plans, rather than simply having oversight or exposure to them.
Ideally, your experience will include:
- Business Continuity Management / BCM
- Disaster Recovery / DR
- Business Continuity Plans / BCP
- Business Impact Assessments / BIA
- Crisis Management and Incident Response
- Resilience testing and scenario exercises
- Enterprise and Operational Risk
- GRC, Audit and Assurance
- Third-Party / Supplier Risk
- Risk and control frameworks including ISO 31000, ISO 27001 and NIST
- Strong senior stakeholder management and communication
- Relevant qualifications such as CBCI, MBCI, CRISC, CISA or IRM
Experience within financial services, technology or another regulated environment would be particularly relevant.
Who This Role Won't Suit
This is not a general Risk Manager role.
If your background is predominantly Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk without substantial hands-on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience, this position is unlikely to be the right fit.
You will also need to be someone who naturally takes ownership, uses initiative and drives activity forward rather than waiting for detailed day-to-day direction.
Package
- Hybrid working, 2 days per week near London Bridge
- Excellent work-life balance
- Very low staff turnover
- 2-stage interview process
- No work visa sponsorship available
This is an incredible opportunity for you to take ownership of Business Resilience within an organisation undergoing significant transformation. If you can demonstrate hands-on experience of writing and testing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans, running resilience exercises and influencing stakeholders, we want to hear from you.
Apply now with your CV, making sure it clearly highlights your Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, BCP, BIA and Crisis Management experience.
