Finance Director

Director of Finance & IT, Permanent, Up to £100k FTE + benefits, Central London

Are you a seasoned finance leader with a track record in major corporates, looking to bring your expertise to an organisation where you can make a real difference?  A prestigious, London-based membership organisation is seeking a Director of Finance & IT to provide strategic leadership and deliver a major digital transformation programme. This is a unique opportunity to use your commercial experience and professional standards to strengthen financial oversight and shape the organisation’s future technology infrastructure.  We are also happy to consider candidates that are looking to work on a 4 day a week basis.  The Role Reporting to the CEO and working as part of the senior leadership team, you will:

• Lead and manage the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, risk management, and KPI dashboards.
• Drive a significant IT transformation project, migrating key systems – including CRM, accounting, and file servers – to the cloud.
• Ensure operational excellence and business continuity throughout the transformation process.
• Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, supporting at board level and representing finance on relevant committees.

  What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a qualified Finance Director (ACA preferred) with:

• Experience gained in large corporate environments, able to apply best-in-class processes to a smaller, agile organisation.
• A proven track record of delivering IT transformation projects
• Strong commercial acumen, risk management, and project governance experience.
• Hands-on leadership style – strategic, but willing to get involved in detail when needed.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at board and executive level.
