Senior Researcher / Associate Deep Tech & Technology Executive SearchWe are partnering with a high-quality, London-based executive search and advisory firm to appoint a Senior Researcher into its growing Technology practice.This firm operates on a retained-only model , delivering high-impact, C-suite mandates for leading organisations, and is part of a global network of boutique firms combining entrepreneurial agility with international reach.The OpportunityThis hire is being made as part of a strategic growth phase, with senior leadership increasingly focused on expansion and client development. As a result, the Research function is critical to ensuring best-in-class delivery across complex, high-value assignments .Youll work closely with Partners and Principals on retained searches, playing a central role in executing mandates and shaping search strategies within the Deep Tech and broader Technology landscape.This is a delivery-focused role , ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, enjoys executing at a high level, and wants exposure to true C-level work (average fee size c.£80k).Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality research and execution across retained executive search assignmentsIdentify, source and qualify senior candidates, particularly within Technology (and/or Financial Services)Build longlists, support shortlist development, and produce structured, high-quality search documentationEngage credibly with senior candidates through outreach, screening and process managementConduct detailed market mapping, company research and search strategy supportLeverage AI tools, CRM systems, databases and digital research platforms to enhance delivery quality and efficiencyCollaborate closely with Partners, Principals and the wider team to ensure consistent execution standardsContribute to continuous improvement of research processes and tools across the businessWhat Were Looking For~12+ months experience in executive search, or a high-end contingent recruiter looking to step into retained workIdeally exposure to Technology (or Financial Services), with a genuine interest in deep tech marketsStrong academic background and excellent research capabilityConfident, credible communicator with sound judgement when engaging senior candidatesHighly organised with strong attention to detail and quality of outputComfortable operating in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative environmentProactive user of AI and digital tools to enhance research deliveryExperience using CRM systems and maintaining high-quality data standardsWhy Join Clear and structured progression path through to PartnerExposure to high-value, C-suite mandates in a retained-only environmentCollegiate, high-performance culture within a small, collaborative London teamOpportunity to work across sectors and alongside different practice areasBacked by a global executive search network with strong market credibilityHybrid working model (typically 34 days in the office)Competitive bonus structure paid twice annually (typically c.2535% of base salary)This is an outstanding opportunity for a researcher looking to elevate their career within a quality-led, intellectually rigorous executive search environment , working on strategically important hires for leading organisations.TPBN1_UKTJ
