Senior Network Engineer - London (Hybrid) - Cisco, Check Point, F5, Network Automation, SC Clearance

TrinIT Talent are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to come on board for a 6 month contract based in London 50% of the time. This role falls In Scope of IR35 and is paying £550 per day.

Job Description:-

You'll look after Cisco switching and routing, Check Point Firewalls and F5 load balancing, and you'll be in the thick of incidents, changes, problem work and tech refresh projects alongside the Network, Security, Compute and Platform Engineering teams.

You'll build and maintain automated pre change and post change validation testing with the clients testing teams, help push Infrastructure as Code across network and security platforms, and put in automated compliance, config validation and health checks. It's 50% onsite and 50% home working and you must hold current and valid SC Clearance.

Key skills:-

* Current and valid SC Clearance
* Strong network engineering background, CCNP or equivalent hands on experience
* Cisco Nexus switching and Cisco UCS
* Enterprise Firewalls, ideally Check Point VSX
* F5 LTM and DNS load balancing
* Automation with Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar, including automated testing and config validation for infrastructure changes
* Incident, Problem and Change Management, with working knowledge of ITIL
