They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Belfast-based team, working on the development of innovative, scalable applications and cloud-based solutions that support critical business operations. You will join a collaborative engineering team, working on enterprise-level applications and services using modern development practices and cloud technologies. About you Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack, Front-End or Back-End Software Engineer within an enterprise environment. Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, particularly React. Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Java or another object-oriented language. Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed applications. Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing. Understanding of Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle. Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. Desirable: Experience with AWS Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway or AppSync. Knowledge of Terraform or AWS CDK. Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Solace or AMQP. Exposure to event-driven or low-latency systems. Knowledge of observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or Grafana. Financial services, trading systems or financial markets experience. What you'll do Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications and cloud-based services. Build and integrate APIs, microservices and distributed systems. Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, deployment and production support. Contribute to architectural discussions and help evolve existing systems towards target-state architecture. Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and Engineers to deliver effective technical solutions. Drive improvements in engineering standards, code quality, performance and application security. Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, prioritisation and delivery. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within production environments.
