VIQU are partnering with a growing IT managed services provider who are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their technical support team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in IT support who is looking to develop their technical skills within a growing business and is looking to take that next step in their career. The role will involve supporting a range of client IT environments, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring systems run smoothly. The business offers ongoing training, professional certifications and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

• Provide technical support to clients, resolving hardware, software and infrastructure issues via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
• Support and maintain client IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations and network environments.
• Manage support tickets, ensuring incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions are accurately documented.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while supporting multiple client environments.

• Good understanding of networking technologies, including routers, switches, wireless access points and network protocols.
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies and experience troubleshooting workstation and server issues.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Good working knowledge of core IT Support technologies, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy DNS and DHCP.
