External Information Solutions Lead

A great opportunity to join a scientific information and intelligence team, helping shape and deliver a data marketplace that supports digital workflows, external information access, and AI-driven science.
What you'll do:
- Drive the vision and roadmap for the data marketplace, ensuring it supports research and wider business needs.
- Work across teams to deliver enterprise data initiatives, applying modern data principles.
- Build and maintain high-quality external information datasets that are easy to find, use, and re-use.
- Engage closely with scientific and business teams to understand workflows and improve access to external information.
- Champion data quality and interoperability to support analytics and AI adoption.
- Partner with AI, data engineering, governance, and quality teams to align standards, models, and onboarding materials.
- Represent the data marketplace through presentations, training, and stakeholder sessions.
What you'll bring:
- Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong foundation in information science, metadata, ontologies, and FAIR data principles.
- Experience in product management and agile environments.
- Awareness of emerging tech, including agentic AI and LLMs.
- A collaborative style with confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
