Position: Fixed Income Front Office QA Automation Engineer

Venn Group are currently supporting a Fixed Income Product IT team who are seeking a Fixed Income Front Office QA Automation Engineer to lead QA automation efforts across our Fixed Income Sales & Trading (S&T) technology initiatives. This role will have a strong emphasis on upstream trading applications, with a particular focus on delivering and implementing the Triforce System for the EGB trading desk in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of QA automation frameworks for Fixed Income trading platforms, establishing a scalable blueprint to be adopted across the global testing team.
• Work directly with the Product Owner and Front Office stakeholders to validate requirements, define test strategies, and ensure high-quality delivery of critical trading and risk systems.
• Own the end-to-end automation lifecycle, including test planning, test case creation, regression pack maintenance, and continuous test execution for high-volume, mission-critical Fixed Income applications.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to test packs and governance processes across Credit, Rates, and Repo business streams.
• Oversee and validate all front-office system changes to support smooth release cycles, ensuring minimal impact to trading operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to drive best practices in quality engineering, including CI/CD integration, shift-left testing, and automated regression coverage.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience with Triforce systems or relevant experience across Credit, Rates, or Repo trading platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of investment banking products, trade flows, and financial applications
• Expertise in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and test management tools such as XRAY and JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effective test coordination and stakeholder management
• Familiarity with ISTQB certification or equivalent software testing qualifications
