Rate: Negotiable depending on experience (Umbrella – Inside IR35)

Duration: 3 months initially

Location: Hybrid – mostly remote, with occasional office attendance required

We are seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst to support a busy Insight and Analytics function within Adult Social Care. This is a key role focused on turning complex data into clear, actionable insight to support transformation, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, service managers, and partner organisations to develop high-quality reporting, dashboards, forecasting models, and analytical outputs that directly inform service redesign and improvement activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop insightful reporting, analytics, forecasting and modelling to support Adult Social Care services
  • Produce high-quality dashboards and interactive reporting tools for a range of audiences
  • Support transformation programmes, including service redesign and demand forecasting
  • Automate and improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy
  • Enable and support self-service reporting across teams and stakeholders
  • Work with multiple data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency and reliability
  • Provide expert analysis and insight to senior managers to support decision-making
  • Contribute to statutory reporting, performance monitoring, and assurance activity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver insight-led solutions
  • Stay up to date with developments in data, BI tools, and analytical techniques
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
  • Advanced skills in data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent)
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret large, complex datasets
  • Experience producing dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders
  • Understanding of data quality, governance, and reporting standards
  • Experience within public sector or health/social care environments is desirable
