Oracle Functional Consultant

Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant - HR Transformation - £725 p/d (Outside IR35) - 4-Month Initial Contract - London (1/2x a week onsite) - French & English Speaking

Our global travel client is looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant to support a major HR transformation across multiple European markets. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key advisory role during the process design and preparation phase of an Oracle Fusion HCM transformation.

Working closely with the internal HR Functional Lead and an external implementation partner, you will provide independent Oracle HCM expertise, ensuring proposed HR processes align with Oracle standard functionality, industry best practices and business requirements. The Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant will provide expert guidance on adopting standard Oracle functionality versus introducing justified process deviations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and challenge proposed HR processes and solution designs against Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities.
• Support HR process architecture, fit-gap analysis and target operating model design.
• Assess functional feasibility and recommend practical solutions within Oracle Fusion HCM.
• Participate in process design workshops with stakeholders across multiple European countries.
• Identify potential design risks, functional limitations and opportunities for standardisation.
• Review process documentation and provide recommendations ahead of design sign-off.
• Act as an independent functional advisor, constructively challenging the implementation partner where required.
• Support the development of consistent global HR processes while accommodating essential local legislative requirements.

Required Experience

• Fluency in French and English.
• Extensive experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
• Oracle HCM Cloud certifications across several relevant functional modules.
• Strong background in HR process design, fit-gap analysis and early-stage implementation activities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Oracle Absence Management and Time & Labor expertise (desirable).
