The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be at the front line of growth, researching markets, identifying prospects, and creating high-quality opportunities for future sales.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to develop a career in SaaS business development. You don’t need to be a product expert; what matters most is your curiosity, drive, and ability to build genuine relationships with prospective customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and prospect new business opportunities across the fleet, logistics, automotive, and technology sectors.
  • Run targeted multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone, events) to engage senior decision-makers.
  • Creating leads through structured discovery calls.
  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of opportunities, booking high-quality meetings for Account Executives and Product Specialists.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation and campaign performance.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to help refine go-to-market strategy and messaging.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong foundation in sales or lead generation within software sales 
  • Exposure to fleet management, connected vehicles, telematics, or IoT is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to build rapport quickly and engage with prospects confidently.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and resilient, with a genuine desire to succeed and grow in a technology sales career.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a consultative, curious approach.
  • Eager to learn new technology solutions and communicate their value to potential customers.
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools to manage outreach and pipeline activity.
