Solutions Architect
About The Role Team – Technology Architecture Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in any of the Vitality offices (Bournemouth, London or Stockport). Full time hours per week.We are happy to discuss flexible working! Top 3 skills needed for this role:

- Working closely with the technology organisation, designing solutions that cross technical, product and application boundaries
- Being the point of contact for resolving any architectural issues
- Acting as an SME for technical changes and assist in providing proposals and estimates for new initiatives or product enhancements
- Owning, creating and maintaining Solution Design documentation and seeking relevant sign off
- Contributing to design standards and patterns, and form part of the governing body of Enterprise Architecture
- Supporting Projects and Product Enhancements throughout the development and delivery lifecycle
- Assisting in Incident/Problem management, Root Cause Analysis and definition of solutions
- Working closely with the engineering team(s) – encouraging continuous improvement in the development, build, test and maintenance of the system
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect across diverse technologies (e.g., Java/Spring, .NET, JavaScript, microservices, containers, databases, cloud).
- Able to assess emerging technologies and their impact on existing systems.
- Expert in full lifecycle delivery – design, development, testing, and deployment using modern tools and frameworks.
- Clear communicator – capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Agile mindset – experience with Agile methodologies (ideally SAFe).
- Strong multitasker – able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative and independent – thrives in cross-functional teams and works autonomously.
