Junior Legal Counsel (Digital Content)

Required for a six-month initial contract, a junior Legal counsel to join an in-house Legal Licensing and Business Development team in either London or Stockholm.

Role:

-Review, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including reseller and distribution agreements.
-Collaborate with in-house accounting, finance and licensing teams on the drafting and implementation of agreements.
-Improve standard form agreements and legal processes.
-Advise the business on relevant legal contexts, issues and risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes, and company policies and procedures

Experience:

- Law Degree (or equivalent)
- Ability to practice in the UK or Sweden (as applicable)
- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience
- Team player with an ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience partnering with global stakeholders and partners
- Track record of working with a wide range of commercial agreements (any focus on technology, business development, content licensing, media and IP deal a bonus)
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
