Overview
We are seeking two experienced SharePoint Architects to support a short-term design-led engagement within a secure environment. These roles operate beneath full Solution/Technical Architect level, focusing on architectural documentation, assurance, and oversight rather than hands-on build or engineering.
The ideal candidates will be highly skilled in producing high-quality technical designs and guiding engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and robust SharePoint solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for SharePoint environments.

Provide architectural direction, guidance, and assurance to SharePoint engineering teams throughout build and configuration phases.

Ensure that all designs and documentation align with security, compliance, and organisational standards.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.

Review, challenge, and assure engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with approved designs.

Maintain clear documentation and version control throughout the design life cycle.
Essential Skills & Experience

Strong experience in SharePoint architecture, including creation of HLDs and LLDs.

Demonstrable background working alongside SharePoint engineering teams, providing architectural oversight.

Exposure to or working knowledge of ShareGate and AvePoint migration/administration tooling.

Experience working within secure environments.

Active SC Clearance (must be in place at the time of start).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple parallel design workstreams.

Self-starter capable of delivering quality outputs independently.
