Data Analytics Leader - Manufacturing

About the Role:

This is a senior permanent leadership position driving data and analytics strategy, business development, and delivery across UK manufacturing clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into powerful analytics solutions and leading transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value. You will engage at C-suite level to define data strategies and roadmaps, lead workshops to identify analytics use cases and develop business cases, build and present compelling proposals, and lead presales activities including RFI and RFP responses. You will design analytics solutions on cloud platforms aligned with client business objectives, analyse business processes to identify data-driven improvement opportunities, and collaborate across global delivery teams to ensure successful execution of transformation programmes.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within data analytics
  • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks
  • Strong knowledge of Lakehouse architecture
  • Demonstrable experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong presales capability including RFI and RFP responses
  • Ability to engage and advise C-suite and senior business stakeholders
  • Experience defining data strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for senior-level audiences
  • Ability to analyse and document business processes to guide use case development
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Nice to Have:

  • Experience delivering large-scale data transformation programmes
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, AI, or machine learning use cases in manufacturing
  • Experience working within consulting or client-facing roles
