A leading global technology solutions and services provider is embarking on a programme to modernise and streamline its delivery and reporting toolset. As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Jira Implementation & Integration Specialist to support the rollout of Jira across multiple teams and to establish best-practice configuration, workflows, and integrations.

As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Jira Implementation & Integration Specialist to support the rollout of Jira across multiple teams and to establish best-practice configuration, workflows, and integrations.
This is a key role at the start of a high-visibility programme. Youll be shaping how engineering, operations, and leadership teams collaborate, report, and deliver work across the organisation.
The Role You will take ownership of:
- Implementing Jira Software to replace existing tools (including Zoho Sprints)
- Designing scalable, optimised project structures, issue types, workflows, and permissions
- Configuring cross-team collaboration models and reporting foundations
- Establishing governance and best practices for long-term Jira usage
- Planning and delivering integrations with and ManageEngine ServiceDesk
- Advising on tooling adoption, process alignment, and data consistency
- Ensuring Jira is set up to support both day-to-day delivery and executive-level reporting
What Were Looking For Essential Experience
- Proven track record in implementing and configuring Jira, not just using it
- Strong understanding of Jira Cloud administration (projects, schemes, workflows, fields, permissions, automation)
- Experience designing Jira structures for multi-team or cross-functional environments
- Prior success migrating teams from legacy tools into Jira
- Experience integrating Jira with third-party systems (ideally ManageEngine, or similar)
- Comfortable working with API-based integrations, webhooks, and automation logic
- Ability to run discovery workshops with delivery, operational, and leadership teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business processes into tool design
- Exposure to Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Experience within ITSM, Engineering Enablement, PMO, or Agile transformation environments
- Familiarity with workflows and reporting structures
- Atlassian certifications (Jira Admin, Managing Jira Projects, etc.)
- Initial4-8 weeks contract
- Inside IR35
- Largely on-site in Liverpool
